What do the winners get?
Each category winner takes home a trophy or engraved merch item marking their win, plus a gift card. The Best Costume Overall winner takes home an extra special prize to match the title.
How does voting work?
Every attendee votes what costume they think best fits each category, with a written ballot system. Please only vote once per category.
How do I participate?
Anyone who shows up in costume is automatically in the contest.
Do I have to dress with the pirate/siren theme?
Absolutly not! The theme is more for the decor and my personal attire. You are welcome to lean into the nautical theme but please do not feel obligated.
Can I enter multiple categories?
Yes! When you arrive in costume you are already entered in 3/4 categories. If you meet someone who compliments your ensemble you could both win the couples category.
Are there any costume restrictions or prohibited items?
No real weapons.
While that may be the only restriction keep in mind this is a 2 story house with narrow hallways. large props, hats, wings, or hard to walk in heels may not be ideal unless removable.
