Voting:

Frequently Asked Questions

who will be the judge?

You will be! We keep it interactive, so each guest can cast their vote for the best costume in each category. If you're unsure of someone's name, feel free to write down what they came as, or strike up a conversation to learn their name—after all, this is a party!

How many people can I have in my entry for the Couple/Group Category?

You can include as many people as you'd like! Last year, we had two groups come dressed as different fast-food chains; they entered both with their partners and as a team to double their chances of winning. The more, the merrier!

How many times can I vote?

Each attendee can cast one vote per category.

Can I win in multiple categories?

Yes, it's possible to win in more than one category.

Can I vote for myself?

Well that's not very sportsmanlike of you but yes, self-voting is allowed.

Are there any costume restrictions?

As long as you adhere to the contest rules outlined above, there are no additional restrictions on your costume. However, since this is a house party, please consider whether you'll be comfortable in a hot or bulky costume. We want everyone to have fun!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO ENSURE MY COSTUME IS SEEN?

While the party starts at 7:00 PM, we recommend arriving before 11:00 PM to maximize your exposure for voting.
